The wine Nara 2006 of Can Bonastre receives a gold medal in Vinalies Internationales 2009

The wine Nara from Can Bonastre, which last year received a medal of Bronze in the Wine & Spirits Competition, a commended from the prestigious magazine Decanter and 89 points to the spanish guide Peñín,
this year  has been prized with a Gold Medal in Vinalies Internationales 2009. This wine is elaborated in the winery that was the origin of Can Bonastre Wine Resort, a unique hotel of SLH located into a 16th century building, only 35 minutes from Barcelona. Can Bonastre has 12 rooms and all guests can visit the winery, enjoy wine tastings, and discover local gastronomy accompanied with Can Bonastre’s wines like Nara.

Nara has been elaborated with 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Syrah. It has spent 12 months of breeding in oak French and American cask, besides 25 days of fermentation in open French oak cask. Its colour is bright cherry with maroon trimmings; it has aromas of sweet red fruits, dried fruits, dark chocolate and toasted and spiced notes (vanilla, clove...), and in mouth is oily, broad and sweet, balanced and with a good structure. Long aftertaste and persistent aromas.
