The environment and sustainability are very important to us here at Can Bonastre. For this reason, we installed a water reception and purification system that permits storing 4 million liters of rainwater and treated water from the Resort. The purified water (the[…] treatment capacity is 20 m3 a day) is reused for irrigating the gardens. Apart from the utilization of water, 24 solar collectors installed on the roof of the farmhouse meet 48% of the Resort’s electricity needs (under-floor heating and sanitary water). As a result, Can Bonastre significantly reduces its CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
